Terms of Service

1. About the Service

Clivo.email provides AI-powered email template generation and design tools, including:

• AI Email Builder
• Figma → HTML converter
• Export integrations to email platforms
• HTML/MJML generation and editing features

All services are provided online through the Clivo.email platform.

2. Account Registration

Users must provide:

• Name
• Email
• A password (stored securely in hashed format)

Users are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use Clivo.email to:

• Generate or send spam emails
• Create harmful, illegal, abusive, violent, or adult content
• Upload copyrighted materials without rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the service
• Penetrate or disrupt the platform

Violation may result in immediate account suspension.

4. Subscription & Billing

• Clivo.email operates on monthly auto-renewing subscriptions.
• Users may also purchase additional AI credits.
• Credits expire if the subscription lapses and only carry forward when the subscription remains active.
• Payment failures will receive a 3-day grace period, after which the account may be suspended.
• No refunds are offered for subscription charges or used/unused credits.
• Free plan users have limited access.

Overusage

If a user exceeds their available credit balance:

• The system may block further actions or
• Automatically prompt the user to purchase additional credits.

5. Cancellation

Users may cancel anytime via the dashboard. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle
• Credits will expire at the end of the cycle
• No refunds will be issued

6. Intellectual Property

Users own all HTML, images, text, and templates created using Clivo.

Clivo retains ownership of:

• The platform
• AI systems
• Core code
• UI/UX elements
• Internal models
• Figma extraction logic

We do not use customer data to train AI models.

7. Data Storage and Privacy

Clivo stores:

• Generated HTML
• Uploaded Figma files
• Extracted assets
• Prompts
• Billing details
• Cookies/analytics data

Data is stored on AWS servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned or unplanned maintenance may occur.

9. Limitation of Liability

Clivo is provided "as is". We are not liable for:

• Data loss
• Downtime
• Bugs or errors
• Inaccurate email rendering
• Business losses
• Third-party service failures

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the last 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of the revised Terms.
